Contemporary Moods was the name given to 3 short “fashion films”, a concept brought for the first time in Romania by Adrian Oianu. A fusion between video art and fashion design, The Fashion Films represent an homage to very famous 70’s photographer Guy Bourdin, the very first artist who experimented this fine border.
The movies don’t show an epic, narrative line with an introduction and an ending, but can transmit or suggest very strong feelings, questions and nontypical attitudes and it’s about the atmosphere more than the action. It is a contemplative view of beauty.
Contemporary Moods have a central concept — the femininity in Adrian Oianu’s vision, which can be translated in subtle graphics, natural sense, sensibility, emotion, pure feelings.
